HOPE ON WHEELS PROJECT
This program delivers comprehensive, mobile-based aid to individuals and families facing crisis by providing direct services and essential resources through our Mobile Crisis Intervention Bus. Designed to meet people where they are, the program operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring immediate access to support for those experiencing mental health challenges, emotional distress, housing insecurity, or other urgent needs. By removing traditional barriers such as transportation, cost, and limited service hours, the program ensures that help is available when and where it is needed most.
In addition to crisis response, the program addresses food insecurity through a weekly free hot meals on wheels service. Nutritious, freshly prepared meals are delivered directly to individuals who may lack consistent access to food due to homelessness, disability, mental health conditions, or financial hardship. This service not only meets a basic human need but also fosters trust and connection, creating opportunities for continued engagement and support.
