EMPOWERING
THE YOUTH

Through mentorship, engagement, and strategic partnerships with programs across our community, we help young people grow with confidence and purpose. Our goal isn’t to teach kids how to be adults, but to encourage thoughtful, responsible young people who recognize their potential and feel empowered to pursue their goals.

PROVIDING LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS

As a Las Vegas nonprofit serving individuals and families throughout Southern Nevada, our goal goes beyond meeting immediate needs. Through community resources, counseling, mentorship, and practical support, The Way Foundation helps people overcome barriers, build long-term stability, and move toward greater independence.

PARTNERS YOU
CAN TRUST

We partner with trusted organizations across Nevada who share our heart for serving others. These partners have been established in our state for years, building strong roots and a proven track record of genuinely helping those in need. By working together, we’re able to extend our impact, provide more resources, and ensure that families and youth in our community receive lasting, meaningful support.

BENEFITS OF THE WAY FOUNDATION

These statistics offer a glimpse into the realities experienced throughout Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, and remind us why accessible resources, meaningful relationships, and long-term solutions matter.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

History and Professional Background

Although The Way Foundation was officially founded in 2024, Moses's commitment to serving others began decades earlier. Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, raised by a hardworking single mother, he learned the value of compassion, sacrifice, and community at a young age. As early as 2002, Moses found ways to support both his family and those around him, working in local neighborhoods, cutting grass and working in barber shops, to use his earnings helping his mother make ends meet.

His passion for service continued throughout his youth. In high school, Moses volunteered at local soup kitchens, mentored elementary school students, and served as Vice President of the Best Buddies Club, fostering inclusion and support for individuals with disabilities. After relocating to Nevada, he continued his dedication to community outreach through volunteer work with Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY).

Driven by a desire to support vulnerable populations, Moses built a career centered on mental health, youth advocacy, and crisis intervention. He is a registered provider in the National Provider Identifier (NPI) Registry as a Behavioral Analyst and provides Behavioral Skills Training (BST) counseling and Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS).

His professional experience includes serving as a Behavioral Health Technician at Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, working with outpatient youth programs, and supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. He also worked with Child Protective Services as a Program Assistant, where he assisted caseworkers, managed case documentation, and helped coordinate responses to urgent situations impacting children and families.

In addition, Moses pursued public service through the Metro Police Cadet Program while aspiring to become a police officer, further reflecting his lifelong commitment to protecting and uplifting others. Today, through The Way Foundation, he continues that mission by creating opportunities, providing resources, advocating for underserved communities, and building partnerships that create lasting change.
